Notifications

Snakk sends you notifications when activity relevant to you happens on the platform.

What triggers notifications

• Someone replies to your discussion
• Someone replies to your post
• Someone mentions you
• Someone follows you
• A discussion you follow gets a new reply
• Moderation actions on your content

Notification settings

Visit Settings > Notifications to control which notification types you receive.

Viewing notifications

Click the bell icon in the navigation bar to see your notifications. Unread notifications are indicated with a badge count. Notifications are delivered in real time via the SignalR connection — you'll see them appear without refreshing.

Auto-follow behavior

By default, replying to a discussion automatically follows it so you get notified of future replies. You can disable this in your notification settings.
