Posting & Replying

Every discussion on Snakk is a conversation. After reading the opening post, you can add your reply using the editor at the bottom of the page.

Replying

Click the reply area to open the markdown editor. Write your response and click Post. Your reply appears immediately in the discussion.

You can also reply to a specific post by clicking the reply icon on that post. This creates a threaded reply that's visually linked to the post you're responding to.

Editing

After posting, you can edit your reply by clicking the edit button (pencil icon) on your post. The edit history is preserved — other users can see that a post was edited.

Reactions

You can react to any post with emoji reactions. Click the reaction button to see available reactions. Reactions are a lightweight way to agree, thank, or respond to a post without writing a full reply.

Formatting

Posts support markdown formatting. See the Markdown Guide for the full syntax reference.

Images

You can upload images directly into your post by dragging them into the editor or using the image button in the toolbar. Images are automatically optimized and thumbnailed.
